I've noticed a few tracks that I can only guess payout better because they aren't as popular maybe leaving less to divide between bettors? Is it because tracks with lesser competitive horses have more disparity in expected results? Are there other reasons? CAW not playing track?

If I'm betting Aqueduct, Parx, Oaklawn, Horseshoe Indy, exotics are less than $30-$50 across the board. I bet Charlestown, monster after monster payout well over $100 for Trifecta and Superfecta (at $0.10 min bet mind you, not $1) majority of the time. I know it isn't practical but makes me want to chance boxing 8 horses on a Superfecta and risk the return is greater or not half the time.

Anyone have tracks they see regularly larger payouts?
