I’m currently pursuing B.Com and wanted to use my free time productively by doing some online courses/certifications that could genuinely add value to my CV and help with internships/job as i am searching for summer internship opportunities.

I have a question about cannabis/weed in Islam. Some people claim that certain weed or joints are “pure” or natural/herbal because they come from a plant and therefore say it can be halal. A friend of mine argues that weed is halal in Islam under certain circumstances.
Is there any actual basis for this in Islamic teachings or scholarly opinions? I’m interested in different viewpoints.
