Hey all managers out there. I work in aerospace, on the manufacturing side as a machinist and today marks my 30 days with the new company and I might have my review today, if not I imagine sometime soon.
My question is, what are these reviews even really for? 30 days im still green, but im productive and haven’t really messed anything up. Any ideas what I should expect?

Btw I’m not a bad employee, I’m just green, I scrapped two parts out of the month I’ve been here, one of which I don’t think was my fault.

Hey all, just asking to see if anybody knows any free courses I can take for machining. Or any good YouTubers. I’m just trying to better myself as a machinist and selfishly I want a raise so I’m trying to impress my boss.
