I’ve tried tretinoin a few times over the years, but my skin just can’t seem to tolerate it—even at twice a week and using the sandwich method.

Recently, I switched to short contact therapy (leaving it on for about an hour, twice a week), and it actually feels way better. Less irritation, and my skin seems happier overall.
Now I’m wondering what the better approach is long-term:
- Should I increase short contact therapy to daily use?
- Or should I try to build up tolerance so I can leave tret on overnight a couple of times a week?

Curious if anyone’s had success with SCT long-term vs pushing through to overnight use. What worked better for you?
