Injecting botox, mesolipo, etc is considered a PRACTICE OF MEDICINE, which means these procedures can only be done by a LICENSED MEDICAL DOCTOR.

These aestheticians claim to be trained daw in aesthetic procedures. But compare their weeks or months of training to the years and years na inaral at tinrain ng doctor, it doesn’t compare. The only thing these people need to learn is how to assist doctors.

Kaya everyone, please be vigilant. Bago magpatreat sa mga “aesthetic clinics,” hanapin muna ang medical doctor. Cross check their name sa PRC website. Check their social media pages. Or better yet, go to aesthetic clinics owned by doctors themselves.

Mas mahal pag doctors ang gumagawa, yes. But your face and body aren’t worth risking a few thousand pesos dahil mas gusto nyo makatipid.

Hello everyone! I’m an aesthetic medicine doctor looking to put up my own clinic in a few months.

As a patient, what makes your experience in a clinic pleasing? Like what would make you want to come back? Or not come back?

Ako personally, I don’t like having packages pushed sa akin. Like if I just went in for a hair removal procedure, tapos ang dami dami nang iuupsell sa akin na procedures. Or like during a facial procedure, panay upsell ng aesthetician ng other procedures. Di na ako makarelax haha. Pag ganyan, nawawalan ako gana bumalik.

Kayo?

Asking this kasi I want to make my clinic very intentional and patient-centered. I want to make sure na each patient leaves satisfied or at least hindi nila mafeel na napressure sila or nabudol.

Thanks everyone!
