Needing some insight removing the rag joint from my 86 GMC k2500. Cannot find any information online about the removal process. I have the rag joint off the spline of the steering box, but cannot push the steering shaft towards the firewall.

I know older square bodies have bolts under the dash to loosen and push it forward, but I can’t find anything like that on mine. How am I supposed to move the shaft so the rag joint can come out?
