Hi everyone, I just got off the waitlist today at UC Irvine for physics. I was already committed to UC Davis for applied physics and UCI and UCD are ranked about the same academically and it seems like they're on par with each other for other aspects of well. I want to know how the physics or engineering (might switch majors) at both of these schools have been. I haven't visited Irvine and I don't think I'm going to, but I've visited Davis and I like it. Cost and athletics also isn't a deciding factor for me either. I'm also Asian if that will make my experience at UCI better as I heard there is A LOT of Asians there. Maybe if anyone that is a transfer student to or from each school that have any feedback or suggestions for which school they enjoyed more PLEASE lmk!!!
