Celebrating two years with my 840!
I remember like it was yesterday when I received the notification that a lightly used 840i GC had arrived at Crevier BMW. I immediately reached out to obtain the build sheet and maintenance records. After receiving a respectful offer on my Lexus GS from CarGurus, I reached out to the sales representative at Crevier to inform him that I would be flying in from Sacramento to purchase the vehicle.
Two years and 10k miles later, I still get excited every morning to hear the intoxicating cold start of the B58. Since my area is very populated, I rarely get the opportunity to open her up. However, it’s always a good time when I get to put her in Sport Plus. The inline-six is more than enough power for me, so I can only imagine how the V8 performs.
To celebrate two years, I treated her to new tires and an extended warranty. One of the previously installed run flat tires started developing a bubble, so I figured that it was the perfect opportunity to replace all of the tires with a wider and taller tire. Not only does the ride closely resemble the butter smooth ride of my GS, but the car almost looks lowered. I’m very content with this car, so I don’t see myself letting it go anytime soon. Therefore, I purchased an extended warranty that will cover it for 48 months or 50k additional miles (I’m currently at 33k).
I plan on wrapping her in Marina Bay Blue in the near future and maybe installing a carbon fiber rear diffuser. No rush, as I am thoroughly enjoying racking up miles.
Happy Easter folks!
