So I just cracked open my generator to service it before hitting the road on a camping trip. Turns out spending time in the Arizona desert for the winter was pretty hard on the little fella. Water in the oil, air filter looks like it's an adobe brick, and behind the filter in the plastic housing there's a ton of oil mud. I'm kinda impressed it's been running fine!
Even the circular shaft that leads to the air intake has mud in it... how can I clean this up without forcing gunk further in there? I can't blow it out or vacuum it because its oil and dirt mixed together.
Thanks in advance
