Hey all,
Been on Hcq and prednisone for 3 months for lupus (also have fibromyalgia ) , still have high crp and multiple joint swelling and pain. Doc wants to add in methotrexate. I am scared to take this medicine , would like anyone’s experience adding in methotrexate. Tell me it’s not as scary as it sounds! Also did it help the joint swelling?
Also what meds help with fibro pain? He is starting me on gabapentin , I don’t know if that will do anything to help my chronic neck pain. Thanks in advance any advice is appreciated !
