I think there is more at stake for Tez Walker than we all think right now. Not from the roster or snaps perspective but the overarching identity of Baltimore WRs.

We’ve been plagued by disappointing player development, injuries, and age. Tez has the best shot at changing that. He had all of the intangibles and athleticism benefits coming out of the draft. He had great size, speed, and personality. He just needed to be cod cu Ed and developed as a route runner.

If Tez is able to breakout this year and show us exactly what he’s been spending all of this time in the background working on then we have officially turned the corner. Not only are we able to hit on a star receiver (Zay) but we can also draft and develop later round receivers as well. The further we get into the draft you get WRs who either don’t have the athleticism or don’t have the skills.

If Tez can go off (relatively) then it’ll speak volumes to how much confidence we can have in this staffs ability to develop Sarratt and Lane as pro receivers
