Finishing my General MBA at UTM as an international student, last semester. Trying to plan ahead and I have a few questions:
Work rights
Can I legally work before my degree is officially conferred, given my part-time international student status? Or do I have to wait for the actual graduation?
UTM MBA
How is it perceived?
Does an MBA from UTM open real doors locally, especially in finance, business development or fintech?
YPOP
Which roles to target?
With a General MBA, what positions realistically qualify? I’m thinking Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Project Coordinator… Any roles that tend to get approved vs. rejected?
Realistic salary?
My profile : 4 finance internships, 6 months each max, no full-time experience yet. What range should I negotiate, knowing the YPOP has a minimum salary threshold to meet?
