Currently on STEM OPT working full-time for Employer A (remote role based out of Pittsburgh, PA). My H-1B was picked this year through Employer A, and the petition is being filed now based on my current Pittsburgh work location.
I’ve now received another full-time offer from Employer B in Dallas, TX, which requires me to work in-office, and I may join them while still continuing Employer A remotely for about 2 months (before any H-1B transfer steps).
So for those 2 months, I would physically move to Dallas, work Employer B in-office, and continue Employer A remotely.
My questions:
Since I’ll be physically living in Dallas, do I need to update my residential address in SEVIS/STEM OPT through my DSO even though Employer A is still remote and H-1B was filed from Pittsburgh?
Should I update my address with Employer A HR as well so they reflect Texas, even though this is temporary?
Could changing my address/location during this period create any issues with my currently filed H-1B petition (selected through Employer A)?
Would really appreciate guidance from anyone who has handled something similar.
