Hi 19F, I’m finishing up my first year of community college and I’ve been trying to make friends but nothing is working. I asked one girl for her insta and now we follow each other but she never seemed super interested in being friends. When I got her Instagram I was surprised to see she was 25. Which I think was the reason she wasn’t interested maybe?
I went on a trip this past January with a giant group of people I did not know. I tried befriending the only other young woman there she was 23. I got her Instagram and then chatted with her 3 weeks later. We hung out at a library event and haven’t spoken much since.
I’m trying to make more female friends after losing majority of them in high school due to different life paths and fake friendships, etc. it’s only going to get harder as I get older but I would love some advice.
Ps. I joined a club at my school that I really enjoy and attend regularly but most of the attendees are male.
