Hi,

I received a settlement agreement from my employer. I have been there for a long time (if I put in here and they see, I am afraid I will lose the settlement). They have a cost in there for legal advice - my solicitor is charging me more in 2 hours than they will cover, but has said she will get them to pay as I wouldn't be in the position if it wasn't for them.

Is that "normal" / possible / probable? I'm not sure if I want to be having to manage paying more on top of losing my job, BUT I do want to have a good solicitor...
