need advice!
hello! i am currently in LOA because I am diagnosed with stress related anxiety disorder due to my course and environment. Now after 6 months of medication, I can feel na I am ready to take the course ulet (DVM). While on the other hand, I got accepted to this school with a high passing rate for VetMed. And with that, I had sent my TOR and all. But they rejected me, because I have a GWA na 2.75 (i know its low but hear me out).
Sa past school ko, the grade 3.0 is 70 in raw grade terms (Yung UP VetMed nga 75 yung 3.0). While at this school, the 3.0 is 50 lang sa raw grade. I asked the college to why is my application declined. And I was aware at that time na yung GWA ko last school year was 2.75. Because ang kanilang maintaining GWA is 2.5. I did not have any bagsak nor INC and I was also a regular student from our batch (12 out of 113 students kami na regular)
Is my reason valid that I called them telling that it was a bit unfair to me na kinompute nila yung grade ko as is lang based on their university standards? I said na is it okay to have an appeal Ma’am? She said that she will ask the dean today or tomorrow.
70 as 3.0 is hell as its peak. Yung UP nga 75 yung 3.0. I’m a bit disappointed to myself because I have done so much effort to this course and they dont know that I was surviving there at my school. Just not the environment lang.
