I understand that argentines are a little girthier/heavier bodied than other boas so there's not a lot of info on what the standards are for their body condition assessments. She's very strong and active. Around 5-6yo. Also don't worry, she's not attacking her reflection, she's just looking for a gap in the door but she's not allowed in the closet because she'll poop in there....

This is my first time using cocochip for my snakes based off a lot of recommendations. The cocochip keeps getting moldy even if the top is allowed to dry off... I have a fan that goes off to move air thru the enclosure every couple hours. But seems like it's either correct humidity and moldy substrate, or too dry but prevent mold. I dunno what I'm doing wrong or if there is a better substrate out there. I'm tempted to just switch to something else altogether at this point.

My setup:

- Paper towel, then cocochip layer, then sphagnum moss on top.

- Automatic mister: 2x per day for 15 sec (unless shedding then I do 3x/day and corner pour to bring humidity up). I tried humid hide but the humid hide also got super moldy

- Fan goes off for 15min every 3 hours to move air around.

- DHP, RHP, and UVB
