While I still have 4 years before I need to actually worry about where I’m going/where I’m matching into (attending vet school this fall at a brand new school) I want to at least start a shallow dive now before I’m overwhelmed with clinics and school.
Does anyone know of a small animal rotating internship where the interns actually have a decent quality of life and aren’t worked in an unhealthy manner, particularly at a teaching hospital? My school will be a distributed model (was my in-state and cheapest option by $100,000) so I would really love the structure of a teaching hospital environment.
Or, are most rotating internships hard in terms of quality of life and legitimately have unhealthy work styles?
