I’m 27 and have been an HVAC technician in the industrial/commercial side for 4 years but HVAC is not what I want to do anymore due to constant back flare ups from an injury in the military. In my free time I like to work on my cars (1965 Impala and a Scion FR-S that I want to eventually turn into a drift car), learn about different cars, engines, suspension setups on race cars, and play video games (more specifically I take custom 3d car models, usually modifying stock car models and adding custom parts to them and add them into a racing simulator I play. I also get people that drive the cars IRL to test them for me and provide feedback so I can create physics to get it as close to realistic as possible. I have my GI Bill so I’m think of going to school. I love working on cars but I do not want to make that a career. Ideally I would love to do some sort of mechanical design whether that be car parts like engine parts or suspension parts or something else. Mechanical Engineering is probably best for that but I’m not sure how I’d do with the math. What are some suggestions of what I should do? Thanks and sorry for the yap lol
