Hi guys!
I want to go to university in Malaysia, but I started having doubts after seeing some critical videos on social media about private universities. I was rejected by UM because my final academic certificate will only be ready at the end of June, while the UM intake period ends on May 30th. I sent my transcripts for everything except the second half of my 11th year, which is probably why I was rejected.
This Friday, I have an interview with Taylor’s University. I believe it’s a good uni, but it seems overcrowded and the tuition fees are quite high. I need a Foundation year since my country only provides 11 years of secondary education. Could you please tell me if private universities in Malaysia are worth the price ($8k–$12k), or should I look for another place to study?
