👋 Hey founders,

I launched FreeInvoiceFlow.com 2 days ago.

Here are my first real numbers (screenshot attached):

  • 17 visitors
  • 86 page views
  • 53% bounce rate

I know these are tiny numbers. But for me, this is a huge step.

The backstory:

I was tired of:

  • Paying $15/month for invoicing tools I used 3-4 times
  • "Free" plans that limited me to 5 invoices
  • Ugly watermarks on my professional documents
  • Overcomplicated dashboards with features I never needed

So I built the opposite:

✅ 100% free forever
✅ No signup required
✅ No watermarks ever
✅ Unlimited invoices
✅ Clean, simple, live preview

My first 17 visitors taught me something:

People actually want this. 53% bounce rate means almost half stayed and explored. For a 2-day-old tool with zero marketing, I'll take that.

What I'm struggling with right now:

  1. How do I get from 17 visitors to 100 without paying for ads?
  2. Is "free forever" with simple ads a sustainable model?
  3. What's the ONE feature missing that would make you use this?

Would love honest feedback:

  • Would you use a tool like this?
  • What would make you trust it more?
  • Is the landing page clear enough?

I'm not here to spam. I'm here to learn from people who have done this before.

Roast me. Help me. Whatever you've got.

Hey founders,

I built FreeInvoiceFlow - a completely free invoice generator. Zero signup, zero watermark, zero client limits. Just enter your data and download a professional PDF.

Why I built this:

I was reading through r/QuickBooks and r/freelance and noticed the same complaints over and over:

• People paying $30-50/month for features they never use

• Sudden price hikes (Harvest went from $12 to $1900!)

• Client limits on "affordable" plans (5 clients?!)

• Free tools adding watermarks to invoices

• Interfaces that look like airplane cockpits

So I built the opposite:

✅ 100% free forever

✅ No signup required

✅ No watermark on invoices

✅ Unlimited invoices, unlimited clients

✅ 5 currencies

✅ Instant PDF download

✅ Clean, simple UI (no accounting bloat)

My questions to this community:

  1. Is there still demand for a dead-simple, completely free invoice tool?
  2. What features would make you switch from your current invoicing solution?
  3. Any feedback on the UI/UX before I invest more time?

I'm not selling anything - genuinely trying to understand if I've built something people actually need.

Thank you 🙏

Hey founders,

Quick question — what do you currently use for invoicing, and what annoys you the most about it?

I’ve been lurking in communities like r/QuickBooks and r/freelance and kept seeing the same frustrations:

  • Paying monthly for features you barely touch
  • Random price jumps
  • Limits on clients or invoices
  • Watermarks on “free” tools
  • Overly complicated dashboards

So I built a very simple tool for myself to solve this.

It’s basically a no-signup invoice generator — you just enter your info and download a clean PDF.

Not trying to sell anything — just genuinely curious:

  1. Would you ever switch to a dead-simple invoicing tool like this?
  2. What’s the one feature you actually need that most tools overcomplicate?
  3. What made you choose your current solution?

If anyone’s open to giving feedback, I can share the tool — but mainly I’m here to learn 🙏
