Bed area more conductive to sleep paralysis, sleepwalking…?

I experienced sleep paralysis in one bedroom when I temporarily slept there, while doing some renovations in our primary bedroom.
My daughter now sleeps in that bedroom and recently, she experienced night terrors and sleepwalking.
Does anyone have a similar experience that some bed areas are more likely to trigger things like that?

Could it be from the mattress or pillows there?
I was also thinking of an esoteric explanation when reading about sleepwalking: there used to be this idea of "Odic force"… probably a bullshit though.

I found this rather good older thread about cleaner apps: https://www.reddit.com/r/DataRecoveryHelp/comments/1d733gm/best_iphone_cleaner_apps_and_why_you_shouldnt_use/

It seems like what was said here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DataRecoveryHelp/comments/1d733gm/comment/l6wghgv/ still holds true in 2026, and the same goes for the apps that were reviewed.

Regarding photo cleaner apps, I would add that I tried out a few other apps and would classify them as follows:

1. Photo gallery organizers: you can get the same result with the built-in Photos app by using the "Not in an Album" filter and browsing through those photos. These apps offer a nicer way to do that, so it's up to you to decide if it's worth it.

Slidebox

✅ Pros: It's probably the most popular app for this kind of thing. It has a neat Tinder-like swiping experience for deleting photos and sorting photos to albums with just one tap.

❌ Cons: It's a bit pricey (but still better than those cleaner apps charging $7 a week).

💰 Pricing: $4.99/month or $49.99/year

Slider

✅ Pros: It's one of many similar apps, but it's free and has a simple Tinder-like swiping experience for quickly looking at and deleting photos.

❌ Cons: It only has one feature; it doesn't support sorting photos to albums, etc.

💰 Pricing: Free

2. AI photo search: many apps that advertise these features are essentially doing the same thing as any other cleaning app (they spot duplicates or blurry photos). However, I stumbled upon one app on Reddit that I thought was quite interesting.

SnapSweep

✅ Pros: It can quickly suggest random junk photos from the past that might not be worth keeping (and you can decide whether to keep them or not), and it works offline (I disconnected my internet and tried running it to double-check it).

❌ Cons: It has a bit simple and clunky UI.

💰 Pricing: Free with up to three scans daily (up to 50 photos each); one-time $3.69 to unlock unlimited searching.

Any other suggestions or thoughts?

Burned CDs typically have an expected lifetime of 10-15 years. If an old CD fails to read, are there any options to recover some data from it through other means (special software or what not)?
