I seriously need to vent 😭
I had my TCS interview on 24th April at Adibatla (Panel 10), and it turned into a full emotional rollercoaster.
The TR round started okay — the questions were actually manageable and I was answering decently. But then suddenly the mood shifted. The MR/TR started grilling me hard, going deeper and deeper, and I could literally feel the pressure building.
At one point, they even asked me, “Why are you panicking?” 😭
That just made me even more nervous.
I tried to stay calm and answer, but the vibe was already intense. And then at the end, the line that completely broke my confidence:
“You didn’t meet my expectations.”
I was like… okay, that’s it. Done. Rejected.
I walked out already overthinking everything I said.
BUT THEN.
The coordinator suddenly called me for the HR round. I was shocked. Like what just happened?? Even they were like, “Why are you panicking?” 😭
Somehow I pulled myself together and attended HR… and surprisingly, it went pretty well. It was smooth, normal questions, and I answered confidently.
Now I’m just sitting here confused out of my mind.
MR says I didn’t meet expectations
Still got sent to HR
HR went well
WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN 😭
Is this normal in TCS?
Do I still have a chance or is this just a formality?
I’m super tensed and overthinking everything right now.
Anyone faced something like this before? Please tell me what happened in your case 🙏
