I know this is probably a very basic question but how does one even begin prepparing for the mcat? Do I take a full length practice exam and see? Also what books are good for content? How does one set up Anki?

I have no idea where to even begin studying and I want to try and take it early next year. I just feel like I am floating around in information that doesn't make sense.
