Creating a 3D map for DnD but the whole thing turned out blue

I was making a 3d map for DnD, it looked fine in viewport rendered view, but when I went to render the whole thing is blue.

The heightmap was generated in Gaea 2. I then used a displace modifier to get it in blender. The material for the heightmap is in 2 parts, one for the sea and one for the land. This is controlled by a texture coordinate -> separate xyz (z) -> color ramp -> mix shader. The land texture is coming from Gaea. To fill in the background I then have another plane with the same water shader. I am rendering in cycles.
