I took my car in for service today. Unfortunately during the service the front bumper cover was scratched. It's a deep scratch. They are willing to repair it, but would I be better off to leave it alone rather than have it repaired? How durable are bumper Cover repairs? The car is 24 years old & hasn't been driven in rain before. There are a few chips in the hood but otherwise it's clean.
