Hello, I'm Alex and I've been DMing since 2018 and playing since I was a high school kid back in 2010. I specialize in sandbox games. I set the pieces up and you knock them down. Every NPC I make has there own business to attend to until you the party sticks their noses into it. Every location I make has it's own story and life for you the players to discover and enjoy. Every villain has their own plot until you the "heroes" go foiling it.

**Campaign Overview:**
Deep in the desert lies a sandstone pit. Rich in minerals, many prisoners both guilty and innocent have been sent there to mine away their lives. None have escaped...so far.
Escape the Sandstone Prison! Did you deserve to be sent here? Doesn't matter now your stuck here forever unless you find your own way out! Assuming the killer that was thrown in here with you doesn't get you first!
Prisoners die from the heat and overwork everyday. Violence is common place. Prisoners are left in the pit to police themselves. Many are innocent. The corrupt local Lord Azaran captures many innocents and sends them here with the guilty. More prisoners, means more minerals, and means he can skim more off of the top. You are one of the unlucky ones sent here. To make matters worse, the same day you arrive it's reviled there was a dangerous killer in your intake group that is already taking prisoners out. Nobody trusts you and suspicions are high. You could be next! Unless...you escape the Sandstone Prison!
A large cast of fleshed out inmates both guilty and innocent await you! Get them to trust you! OR hate you! Make them your allies or your enemies! The choice is yours!
Meet
- Delous Argent: A silver dragonborn. Despite being a prisoner himself, he does his best to keep order in the prison and cut down on violence.
- Var Morkal: A half-orc with a brutish attitude. He leads the orcish prisoners, but has a deep secret filled with regret.
- Viela Glassblower: A halfling woman. She provides a safe haven for many of the female prisoners.
- Bryn the Old: One of the oldest prisoners and a former druid. Some say he knows too much. Others say he's just crazy.

**What to Expect:**
- A rich set of fellow prisoners. Some are guilty, many aren't, and all of them have something to offer. Ally with, avoid them, beat the snot out of them and rule the yard, the choice is yours
- A brutal environment where you'll have to get creative and resourceful to survive and escape. What are you doing in this pit? Are you guilty or innocent? Does it matter? Either way your never going to get out if you don't get moving!
- A complex sandbox with multiple ways to escape and survive
- A DM who loves backstories and worldbuilding
- One heck of a good time!

**How to Apply:**
- Think about who your character is and how they ended up in the prison. Were they guilty or innocent? Plenty of both in here. Give me a backstory as short or as long as you want.
