I’ve looked at other posts here regarding the same issue, but trying to bend the hooks in place hasn’t been much help.

The key has fallen off and I’m not quite sure how to fix it. The key wont clip onto the grey thing most of the time. Sometimes, the key will fall off together with the grey thing, which makes me wonder as to whether the problem is with the black part itself or the base of the keyboard. I’ve been using blu tac as a temporary fix, though its painful trying to clean it off.

Also, how do I clean the space between the laptop and the keys on my keyboard without having to pry off wach key? I’d like to avoid the rest of my keyboard ending up like this but the gunk is disgusting.
