I created my first extension recently for evaluating if websites follow best practices

I started out with creating a domain and security scanner for online domains and servers.

That eventually took me to creating an Android app for doing the same kinds of of inventory , vulnerability checks abd various warnings about insecure protocols and misconfigurations for local networks.

After some thinking I also started thinking about end users and if I could make something useful for evaluating and easily present the security of a website in real time.

I'd seen a few but my problem with them was that there was no information about how or why a website was deemed safe or not.

I wanted to create something that would also explain why the site gets the verdict it does, based on server headers, trackers, scripts, cookies etc . I also added a bit more intelligence into for evaluation of compliance and jurisdictions etc for those who would be interested

I managed to finally release it for both Chromium based browsers and Firefox.. having a bit of a problem getting it listed for Edge so far due to bureaucracy 😅

Since I simply don't own a MAC , I haven't ported it to Safari but I might ..some day ..

Anyway, here's a link to the extension if you're interested
