What I remember (very distinctive details):
One of the main characters was named Pai He owned some kind of bar (possibly a strip or gay bar) He occasionally spoke French in dialogue He had a daughter He wore corsets and robes There were strange tentacle creatures called “speks” kept near/at the bar Near the end, the other main character proposed to him with a custom ring shaped like two tentacles reaching toward each other
The fic seems to be completely deleted from Ficbook, and I can’t find it in any archives.
If anyone has a saved copy (fb2/epub/txt), has seen a reupload, or even remembers it — I’d really appreciate any help.
