Just got engaged, curious to know if the gaps between the prongs and the diamond are normal or if I should be concerned? You can see the color of my finger through the gaps. Also, it’s a bit tall for me, any insight on what having it lowered would look like?

Update: it’s from Shane Co.
Seemed reputable based off reviews and friends personal experience, but yeah, its not going to work especially for the price. We’re calling Shane Co. tomorrow and I’ll be going into local jewelers next week to get some opinions/options and pricing.
