WHAT DOES THIS MEAN

i see an update on my schedule and this appears
i wasn’t told i had work on tuesdays so why is there 3 hours on there?
the contract said 22 but i was told i js do 20 (idky, shouldve clarified ik, but my manager was on holiday so thought to ask in person when they’re back)

anyways it only shows up for yesterday and not the following tuesdays and it only showed up today (think it was put on yesterday)

why can’t code checkers be on a rota?

managers of trading assistants/whoever does this please answer!! :)

idk if it’s js my store but the way short life code checkers do stuff is u gotta ask what’s already been done when u clock in, then pick random aisles and places, when ur finished u gotta ask what’s already been done/is currently being done

i don’t get why they don’t use a rota
eg person a does isles 1 & 2, person b does gluten free, person c does end fridges ect ect then switch it biweekly or sm
then if ur done js go help sm1 else

surely that’s more effective than having to walk each isle to find sm1 and ask what’s been done/what needs to be done????

i’m new so am i missing something that means the current way is better than a rota????

stupid question, but it’s my first day so i told the person at the self checkout. some manager got me but didn’t let me clock in, he js took me to put my stuff away and then made me follow him to find my buddy. i told him i have a code when we were next to the screen but he genuinely didn’t hear i think 😭

will i get in trouble???
