MK2.1 Full Review Update of the type of blade that gets issued to Special Units all over the World.

Hello Everyone,

While this review is only of a knife - I'd say it has more to do with guns than many other knives.

Extrema Ratio builds these systems specifically for Units like the Italian Col Moschin which is considered one of the most elite special forces in Italy and competing globally as well.

They are also supplied to the GOI (Gruppo Operativo Incursori) which is Italy's Navy Special Force.

There are quite a few more units who use these knives beyond that you can do your own research on it, my point is, I got this knife and tested it and after collecting knives for years this is my top favorite blade I have ever owned - the version I have is the desert warfare finish but it also comes in full black for a more operator style blade.

I have created a full review on my website where I go into every possible detail I could analyze about this system and I just felt some of you might enjoy reading through it.

You can find it here: https://www.phoenixreviewsllc.com/extremaratiomkdesertwarfarereview

Disclaimer: I am not getting any affiliate money from this and all the reviews I do on my website and channel are purely born out of the passion I have for knives and tactical gear.

Let me know if you tried Extrema Ratio before and if you like the kind of complex tactical systems they make or any other type of knife used by special units.

Cheers,

Jonah

Hello r/knifeclub

After my last video of the MK2.1 disassembly I have now created a full comprehensive review because I think this knife really deserves it.

I go over everything from the sheath design to the geometry of the blade and the material which is Böhler N690.

In the video you can see the process of removing the knife in and out of it's sheath which has a double locking system and also a thigh strap to keep it secure instead of awkwardly shifting around.

Hello r/knifeclub Community,

I just completed a analysis and disassembly instruction video of the Extrema Ratio MK2.1 - I have been collecting knives for a while now and I can honestly say this is my favorite knife I ever owned.

It is basically an evolution of the Mark Dagger II which as many of you most likely have heard of, it was the most popular choice for the US in the Vietnam War and I believe it is also what inspired the Ka-bar design.

Well, all I can say is that owning this knife, I don't believe any Ka-Bar could impress me more than this one does. The Geometry, design and durability is just amazing.

It is made out of N690 cobalt / chromium reinforced stainless steel which was one of my main points of why I wanted this knife. the idea of a knife that is enriched with literal cobalt and chromium just feels special to me.

As for the video, I created this video to showcase how to take this knife apart and reassemble it and there is a very important thing you need to know if you own this knife and disassemble it. simply put, there is a small connector piece that connects the pommel to the tang of the blade and in my video I showcase how to avoid loosing this piece and reassemble the blade properly.

You can check out the Video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgvLgPjXRHo&t=4s

Let me know if you own this knife or if you are a fan of bayonet style knives.

Cheers
