Magpies want our rasberries

We have a gang of 21 magpies that hang out in our backyard. We don’t feed them but a neighbour might. They’ve chased off the cockatoos and wattlebirds that used to hang out in our yard. The other day my husband cooked up a batch of raspberry shrub (a type of raspberry cordial) and it had quite a strong smell. When I opened the window, the magpies were VERY interested.
