Variable weight system?

What’s y’all’s opinion on different weight systems

Bolts? Mezz Avant? McDermott VBP? Others?

Do you think the McDermott VBP weight system (when properly tightened) is a good design?

What adjustable weight system is y’all’s favorite?

Full carbon cue?

What yall think of full carbon cues? Carbon shaft and carbon butt, like the McDermott vq1 and Jacoby carbon “game changer”.

What maker makes the “best” full carbon cue?

Has anyone shot with one?

Someone, please help me with choosing a new playing cue.

I have been playing for almost 8 years now. Last 3 years I play competitive locally. My personal playing cues were always McDermott. During the years I have hit with other people’s cues and found I like carbon shafts and a cue that doesn’t have a lot of tip vibration with a good feeling hit that can stay consistent, I use a lot of spin and sometimes power shots.

It’s time for me to get something new for myself and burn some cash. Budget is around $2k (obviously a good cue for way less is fine), I am not concerned about the resale price or any variables other than objective feel and performance. Please suggest based on factuality without bias.

Would go around testing cues to see what I like but every billiards supply has bad stock and everything decent in Jacksonville is made by predator.

If anyone has any questions to help me figure out what would be a good fit, ask away.

Much appreciated.
