Long term foster kitty suddenly all about cuddles.
So long story short, back in 2024 I went through a horrific trauma and then barely a month later I lost my chonky boy cat. Soon after I welcomed 2 foster babies who’d been through a total life shake up and I still have them while their human gets back on his feet. The boy, while always being affectionate in his own way, has never wanted to get too close at all. And in the last week, he’s decided all he wants is to be curled up close to me and sleep next to my head. I’ve been making some really amazing progress in trauma therapy and I’ve got some really beautiful things unfolding in my life, I’m wondering if it’s a sign that both he and I are feeling braver and that the next chapter is flowing in with grace and joy? I’d love to hear anyone else’s similar experiences.
