Attending my first MBA fair this weekend (Clear Admit Atlanta) — any advice on how to make the most of it?
I’m attending the Clear Admit MBA Fair in Atlanta on May 11 and wanted to ask for advice from people who’ve gone through the MBA admissions process or attended similar events before.
I'm planning to apply in Round 1 and am mainly interested in schools with strong tech and PM placement. This will be my first MBA fair, so I’m trying to figure out how to approach it strategically instead of just wandering booth to booth.
A few things I’m trying to figure out:
How should I approach conversations with admissions reps without sounding too rehearsed?
Is it better to focus deeply on a few schools or briefly talk to as many as possible?
What kinds of questions actually leave a good impression?
Anything you wish you had done differently at your first MBA fair?
Do schools actually remember candidates from these events later during applications?
Also curious if there are any subtle “don’ts” people don’t realize until after attending one of these.
Appreciate any advice.
