Unsure if I my weight gain three days after is water weight or true weight gain
I went out drinking with some friends on Thursday and had a lot of food too and definitely went over my deficit but I was relieved the next day because I didn’t gain any weight the scale just stayed the same , but to be safe I ate 200 cals less on Friday and Saturday and I also increased my exercise I checked the scale this morning and I went up by a kg .
I’m not sure if it’s because I drank a lot of water last night as I always weigh myself after going to the bathroom in the morning or if it’s just genuine weight gain. Obviously I’ll just get back on track and deal with it but I’m confused how my weight stayed the same the day after but only increased this morning , as I’m not sure the water I drank can make a whole lot of a difference.
