Back in 2025 I thought Leica as a brand partner might be tied to the Dartphone because Leica had already been moving further into smartphone partnerships and mobile hardware around that time. But the Rules of Spycraft trailer seems to reveal their actual gadget instead: a Leica Q3-inspired “Shockwave Camera”.

You can briefly see Bond using the pressure wave in Aleph to knock a guard off a balcony, and later at the Kensington gala against a heavily armored enemy after hacking/Dartphone options fail. Makes me wonder if the gadget is designed to allow manipulating the environment and creating “accidents” apart from using it directly against an enemy.

Something small in the opening titles might actually be a big hint.

IOI only highlights the core cast… and then quietly drops two names we’ve never seen before: Bart Edwards and Anthony Howell.

At the same time, the main villain (golden mask) and 009 are still basically hidden. What if we’ve already been shown the actors behind them?

Edwards could fit a Bond-like mirror antagonist surprisingly well

Howell lines up almost perfectly with what we’d expect for 009 (age, presence, even voice)

Nothing confirmed, but it starts to click more the deeper you look.

I broke it down with actors portraits in more detail in my article if you’re curious.
