Asked on the office chair subreddit for suggestions on this, but instead just got the same generic responses they seem to give out without taking into account what i've actually asked about - chairs for tall people.

Too many ergonomic chairs are made for people of average height and the people reviewing them are also typically that height which doesn't help, particularly as we also weight more by default. So, thought I'd ask here. Any suggestions on a ergonomic chair that fits within a gaming space? What do you use?

For me i'd like something akin to the Herman Miller Vantum for aesthetics but made for taller people. I currently have a Secret Lab Titan gaming chair that was ok for gaming but now working from home it's horrible for my posture siting in it 8+ hours a day. What i keep finding is chairs with adjustable seats to get the full leg support leave a gap between the seat and back of the chair as i'm too tall, and or they're not very wide seats.

Herman Miller Embody gaming might be the perfect chair for me but it's crazy expensive.

I'm 183cm/6ft tall weighing 100kg. Average height for guys where I live is 5'9" so here I feel tall all the time lol

I've been wearing Vans most of my life and typically buy them from Vans direct so only recently learned about what I would call sanctioned counterfeits of the real thing, otherwise known as 'made for outlet' shoes. I was having issues with a pair of Van old skool hi tops I bought at a Sports Direct in the UK only to learn now they're not the real thing. Cheap materials and manufacturing with a Vans logo, not much better than a counterfeit. Looking on Amazon kept seeing designs I'm not familiar with, and this would be why.

I was shoe shopping today and only one store had real Vans, everywhere else had these outlet shoes in store. Kinda feels deceptive to me to be honest. What do you think?

Looking for help trying to find a replacement for my Secret Lab Titan (size regular) that's now 5 years old. It was ok for gaming evenings/weekends but since I started working from home about a year ago it's been really bad for my posture. I'm trying to emigrate next year so i've been putting off making purchases like this, but it's really been bugging me lately. I could always try sell it later or perhaps ship it. Part of the difficulty i'm having is living in West Wales there's nowhere for me to just go and try out chairs.

I'm 183cm (6ft) and 100kg, I need something that wont bottom out with a big seat that I can sit in for 8 hours of work and also gaming sessions. Be nice to have a headrest or option to add one to support my neck as that's one of the issues I have with the titan. I've never needed lumbar support before but don't think i've ever tried it either. I have a knee issue from lifting weights so often put my feet up on an ottoman under the desk which helps and comfortable.

Right now I use up all of my Titan's leg space right up to the sides and can fit 3 fingers between the edge and back of my legs with my butt tucked to the back of the seat. The Titan seat is 53cm wide and 50cm depth but there's also no gap at the back like I see on some office chairs which I wouldn't like at all. So I'd like something at least that size wise.

By budget is £500-£750 for either a new retail one or if used I wouldn't want to buy something more than a few months/year old.

Thanks for any help one this.

Been wearing vans most of my life but only now got myself a pair of Hi Tops old skool to use as lifting shoes for the gym after my low tops got a hole in them.

They're making an annoying flopping suction like sound sound when walking, is this a common problem? How do you get rid of it? Never had that issue on other Vans before.
