I just walked by Moulin Rouge. The show is not over and yet there are 40 people already crowded around the stage door barricades. It’s enough to block the entire sidewalk. People who didn’t pay for tickets. People who didn’t see the show (at least not tonight).

IMO, the only people at stage door should be people who attended m the show (meaning there should be no one right now because the show is still happening).

In reality, I think the whole stage door thing has become a blight on the entire experience of Broadway.

I get it. I’m not surprised. And I probably would’ve assumed this was happening but this was the first time I saw it in person…
