Preventing yoga butt

Im reading Gregory Maehle’s Ashtanga Yoga Practice & Philosophy. In a section early on about stretching, he describes passive stretching and gives an example of forward folding and how the origin of the hamstring can be damaged. So, in very reductive terms, does this mean keeping the hamstrings and back of the legs active can help protect against yoga butt? What are some tips to keep the legs active without feeling you’re hyperextending the knee?

I have finally made 2 decisions! But maybe I should keep thinking….

I am redoing my small NYC condo galley kitchen and am very budget-conscious,a serious problem in Manhattan. Looooooong story short, I’m having other renovations done after a leak and using the contractor for the kitchen. After getting multiple bids, going to IKEA, getting quotes from RTA and CliqStudios, I went to a store an hour away per my contractor rec. Here’s what I chose and here’s an Ai mockup of what it look like (but my kitchen is not this long). The counter is from the vendor below, quartz.

The before is US Modern Cabinet and he’s relatively small and local but worked with my contractor for a long time.

He did really quote me a good price.

Any thoughts? Constructive criticism?
