i’m new to fish keeping and have been getting really into it, but i still don’t know everything. my question is why does his lower fin look like it’s smashed? also the snails shell looks like it has a crack in it? i have a 5.5 gallon tank with 2 snails and a male betta. theres sand + pebbles, driftwood, as many plants as i could fit, hiding spots, heater, filter, bubbler. i change the water weekly. he gets betta fish pebble food and also dried bloodworms as a treat some days lol. how does my tank look? someone recently commented on it saying there was too much filtration since i have so many plants. soon i hope to buy a 10 or 20 gallon tank to upgrade but for now this little tank is my baby. also i wonder if the plant that is floating can grow how i have it because i know you aren’t supposed to cover the roots on it and i haven’t had a chance to anchor it down. i also kind of left it because he likes to rest and hide under the leaves. tia!!
