Hello all!
I have a friend coming in late July to see me in Philly (She's coming from the west coast, so trying to show her all the fun things while she's here, Philly, DC, etc.), and I'd like to surprise her with tickets to one of her favorite artists, BUT I don't want that to be obvious until we're basically at the doors of the place.
My solution to this: Spend a majority of the day in the area!
My main experience with the area is obviously the National Aquarium, but I haven't really done anything other than that.
What else could we do? Are there any restaurants you heavily recommend, and times to go see things? I'm not made of money, but as long as there's prices on the menu I can do it 😅
I believe the concert doors open ~6pm, with the show starting at 7, if that gives anyone some timeframe, midweek. Trying to end the day near the Inner harbor if possible, as the venue is nearby.
I'm really trying to make this special, so any suggestions would be awesome!
