Has anyone here ever had their pre-employment checks come back unsuccessful?

After weeks of waiting, I recently found out mine did, and I’m honestly disappointed and confused. I’m still trying to understand what might have caused it.

If anyone has experienced something similar, did you ever find out the reason, or were you able to reapply successfully later?

Would really appreciate hearing others’ experiences.
