I did my first sit a couple weeks ago and it was international. I actually really enjoyed it. It was in the UK for 2 1/2 weeks. The dog I sat for was just wonderful. I really miss him a lot actually. However my body did not like it. I ended with a flare of my MS and it was hard to keep up with the dog walking. It was a real struggle. We would sit outside and play ball but i wanted to take him to different parks, maybe travel to a different city with him on the train (he’s used to that). After that I decided to close my account with trusted house sitters because I felt like I wasn’t able to care for the dog at the level he deserved. Long story short, is anyone here disabled? If so, how do you manage your disability while sitting? Or is this just not a thing to do while being disabled.
