I just got a mini and if I was to add gen 4 and get the max plan, would I qualify for the 50% off roam plan?

I purchased a mini from Starlink for $199. It says I have to activate within 7 days of delivery. Or I will be charge to $50 bonus discount.

Can I activate in stand by $5 mode? Or do I need to activate it in the $50 or $165.

Are the newer gen starlinks better than the gen 2 actuated models?

Does cloudy and rainy weather have any effect on Starlink speeds. Especially during heavy rain and storms?

Anyone have the 100 plan? I know this is depriortized, any issues with this slowing down causing issues? Are speeds generally kept near 100mbps and I are they definitely capped and dont go over 100?
