Hi all!

We're quite avid campers, used to have a tentbox (roof tent), which sadly got stolen.

Now I'm thinking to buy an older, small caravan rather than another roof tent.

The caravan will likely be a 2000-ish, 2 berth around 1,000kg (900 MIRO. 1100 max weight). Braked, of course.

My car is a 2016 1.5D with manual transmission.

Everything I read seems positive, to the extent of:

- take care of the nose weight

- load the car, not the caravan

- use a lower gear than normal

- don't do anything stupid

Does anyone know why/if this would be a bad idea?
