Many people post pictures of their desktop layout and specs, but I rarely if ever see anyone post anything about their sound scheme setup.
One of the things I used to like doing when setting up my computer, after system settings, installing software, changing wallpaper, was adding sound effects for different functions. These were wav files of short audio clips from assorted movies, shows, games, whatever. I'd change the login, logout, internet connect/disconnect, error, and other sound effects with sound files from The Simpsons, South Park, Invader Zim, World of Warcraft, Borderlands II, etc. I'd love to use some of the old wav files I had 20 odd years ago but think I lost them over the years as backup drives got corrupted.
Does anyone else modify their sound schemes?
Are there any good websites that have large collections of free wav or oga or other audio files from various sources?
What sound schemes or files would you like for your whole PC or certain functions? Simpsons? South Park? Star Wars? The Boys? Marvel? DC? Transformers? The Mighty Nein? Breaking Bad? Borderlands? Baldurs Gate? Generic sci-fi computer sounds? Maybe a specific actor across multiple movies or shows?
