Hi! I have auditions for my high school jazz band and am wondering what I should know/prepare in advance. For context we have two pieces, one with the expectation to improvise a bassline over the written changes. I have both memorized pretty comfortably, have taken theory one, and am able to improvise walking lines fairly well. Any advice for particulars (scales, patterns, etc.) to learn/practice in case they come up?
